11.00 – 12.30 hrs: GAGARIN, the Artists in their own Words by West Den Haag
Presentation by founder/publisher Wilfried Huet of GAGARIN, the international artist magazine that is completely dedicated to the publication of specially written and unpublished texts of currently active artists, anywhere in the world.

13.00 – 14.30 hrs: Human / Digital: a symbiotic love affair by The Kunsthal Mark Brown, collector of digital art for the Brown Family Collection, speaks about collecting digital art and delves into the exhibition ‘Human / Digital: a symbiotic love affair’ in the Kunsthal Rotterdam. With introduction by Rafaël Rozendaal, artist and specialist in the field of internet art.

15.00 – 16.30 hrs: Marinus Boezem
Director and curator of the Oude Kerk, Jacqueline Grandjean, and curator Lorenzo Benedetti tell about the complete works of Boezem and his new in-situ pieces, on show this winter in the Oude Kerk. How do art and heritage relate?


12.00 – 13.30 hrs: The residents of Foundation AVL-Mundo
Always wanted to know what it’s like to be an artist? In 3 brief presentations, Jennifer Caubet (FR), Felix Burger (DE) and Jason Page (US) show us where they get their inspiration from.

13.30 - 14.30 hrs: 
Artist Talk ‘Cinema Olanda’ with Wendelien van Oldenborgh and Lucy Cotter
Visual artist Wendelien van Oldenborgh and curator Lucy Cotter will take part in an Artist Talk about Cinema Olanda, the Dutch entry for the 57th edition of the Venice Biennale. In the Rietveld pavilion three new filmic works will make space for lesser-known episodes in Dutch postcolonial history and explore how they resonate with current transitions in the Netherlands’ cultural and political landscape.
The Mondriaan Fund is responsible for the Dutch entry to the Venice Biennale, which will run from 13 May to 26 November 2017.

14.00 – 15.00 hrs: Interview with writer, artist and photographer Jan Cremer
In the Nederlands Fotomuseum you can visit the exhibition ‘The collection illuminated by Jan Cremer’. As guest curator, Cremer has selected fifteen photos from the rich photography collection of the museum. Ruud Visschedijk (director Nederlands Fotomuseum) will enter a dialogue with Cremer about his search through the photo collection.

15.30 – 17.00 hrs: Manifesta debates migration in South Europe
Due to the upcoming Manifesta edition in Palermo, the city that welcomes many immigrants and where migration is an important theme. Guest speak- ers: Manifesta’s director Hedwig Fijen, architectural firm OMA, Radio Sonono; Manifesta’s refugee radio.

18.00 – 19.30 hrs: citizenM hotels | ‘More art, less pillow chocolates’
Hans den Hartog Jager, renowned writer and art critic, speaks for the hotel group citizenM. Den Hartog Jager explores citizenM’s passion for art and brings it to life for his audience. 'Those who travel the world with a big heart and big eyes'.


11.00 – 12.30 hrs: Learn to Collect
Looking for beautiful stories and falling in love with a piece of art? Join @Boijmans, the young Friends Club of Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in collaboration with collectors In4Art and Gallery Rianne Groen and learn to collect art.

13.00 – 14.30 hrs: The new Depot
In 2017, Museum Boijmans van Beuningen starts construction of the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen. Business director Ina Klaassen speaks about the concept, the business case and the collaboration with private collectors.

15.30 – 16.30 hrs: How to disappear completely, with Sema Bekirovic and Sarah van Sonsbeeck
Curator Yasmijn Jarram will interview visual artists Sarah van Sonsbeeck and Semâ Bekirovic about their work in the new group exhibition in Garage Rotterdam.How to disappear completely is the theme of the exhibition. During their conversation they will shed light on the desire to escape from tangible reality. They will also discuss the fascination for revealing that which is invisible or hiding that which is visible. 

15.00 – 16.30 hrs: case-study Opera- House by Dominique Gonzalez- Foerster
Hetty Berens (curator Sonneveld House Museum Museum) on interventions in the museum, with special attention for the current intervention Opera-House by Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster.
