After the successful launch in 2012 of the New Art Section, there have been in 2013 fifteen new international galleries selected by Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art, directed by curator Samuel Saelemakers.
Art Rotterdam offers these galleries the opportunity to show their young talent at a considerable reduced fare to the international public of artlovers, collectors and curators.
In 2013, 13 among the 15 galleries of the New Art Section were originated from countries outside The Netherlands, because of this the New Art Section was the most international section of Art Rotterdam. The New art Section took place in the Cruise Terminal.
