At Art Rotterdam Projections the 5-star Andaz Hotel acquired videoworks and donated one work to the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and De Hallen Haarlem. A jury, consisting of Xander Karskens (curator De Hallen Haarlem), Bart Rutten (curator Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam) and Nick Pritzker (Hyatt Hotels), have selected the video artworks. Paul Geertman (co-owner of the hotel and also art collector) is very pleased with the acquired videos. The work of Meiro Koizumi ‘Defect in Vision’, 2011 (presented by Annet Gelink Gallery Amsterdam), is acquired and donated as a joint ownership to both museums. The Andaz Hotel has acquired the entire serie of seven episodes by Keren Cytter ‘Vengeance’ (presented by Schau Ort, Zurich). Three episodes have already been made, the other four episodes will be produced in the coming years.
