Video projection on the Euromast during Rotterdam Art Week
Dream away at Jacco Olivier's animation Perpetuum on the Euromast. In celebration of the Rotterdam Art Week 2023, a figure will endlessly leap into the air to celebrate freedom and artistic curiosity. This project is offered to the city of Rotterdam by Galerie Ron Mandos and the AkzoNobel Art Foundation, so that every citizen of Rotterdam can experience the power of art.
The video projection, in which a euphoric figure bounces up and down on the surface of the water like a trampoline jumper, can be seen from Tuesday 7 February to Sunday 12 February after sunset on the Euromast at Parkhaven.
This project was made possible by Galerie Ron Mandos, AkzoNobel Art Foundation, Euromast, Municipality of Rotterdam, Beam Systems, Jacco Olivier, and Hi-Lo, for which the artist created Perpetuum, a site specific video work first projected onto the light house of Schiermonnikoog.
