Beyond being passive participants in the art market, collectors now actively contribute to shaping the art world, particularly when it comes to supporting emerging talent. This panel brings together key figures who are not only curating their own collections but are deeply involved in initiatives that foster the careers of young, emerging artists. They are instrumental in breaking down barriers, ensuring diversity, and providing new opportunities for artists to thrive in an increasingly competitive and fast-paced art world.

Hierover gaat kunsthistoricus Meta Knol in gesprek met kunstenaars Diana Scherer, Laurien Dumbar en Tjebbe Beekman.

These are paintings in which the silhouettes of two people are united, superimposed, as a debunking of the disproportionality of their relationship; portraits in which the victim is given a voice, while the ruler is exposed as such.
